What is Worship?

Session 1 - October 3: Our Christian Roots [YouTube] [Slides]

How did Christians worship immediately after the death of Jesus? How about in the first century in the Roman Empire? In the second century in Greece? We'll look at some of these questions and the spread of worship through the 15th and 16th centuries as we discuss what our common Christan worship looked like.

Session 2 - October 10: Church Growth & the Reformation [YouTube] [Slides]

We'll look at Scripture and see what church worship looked like in Acts. How did the changes in the Church affect our worship? What's our primary tool for understanding worship?
